Day 1b of 2015 WPT Canadian Spring Championship lead by Afriat

2015 partypoker.net World Poker Tour Canadian Spring Championship attracted 234 players on the second Day 1 flight and to the Poker Club situated outside of Montreal, Quebeck, Canada.

Adding the 136 players coming from first flight to the Saturday play would put the count of participants officially at 370 and this is the 14th Season’s is first stop  of the tour.
At the end of the day on Saturday, Eric Afriat, the 2014 WPT Seminole Hard Rock Showdown champion grabbed the chip lead from a field of 102 players. The day for Afriat started hot, and he collected 90,000 hardly into the first level and half, though he encountered a few obstacles on the way be ultimately accounted to 212,200 and the consequent lead.
Jason Duval stood second with 188, 400 chips followed by Kevin Sing with 187,700 for the third spot. Jason Duval, winner of the 2013 World Series Poker bracelet and finalist of WPT Canadian Spring Championship ended the day on the top list along with Laurence Grondin, WSOP final tablist, Darryll Fish, the WSOP Circuit winner and also the Marvin Rettenmaier, the WPT Champions Club member.
The players to hit the rail at the end of the day included Mike Sexton, the Poker Hall of Fame m ember, Jonathan Duhamel, the 2010 WSOP Main Event Champion and Jonathan Jaffe, the 2014 WPT Montreal winner.


The Day 1b survivors numbering 102 will be joined by the remaining players of the Day 1a account to 50 on Sunday. This will make the group of 152 poker players which will hit the tables at 12.00 the time the play kicks off in Montreal. The biggest stack will be brought by Mike Leah, the Day 1a   chip leader.
